How to Properly Put the Collar on My Dog?

Before installing the collar on your dog, make sure it is properly charged. To do this, go to the app settings and check its battery level. If necessary, charge it using the provided USB-C cable.When the collar battery becomes low, you will be automatically alerted.

To properly thread the strap onto the Smart Dog Collar, please follow the steps outlined in the Quick Start Guide.You can also watch the explanatory video in our dedicated FAQ articleThe strap should go all the way around the dog's neck, passing over the silicone part of the Smart Dog Collar.

Once the strap is properly installed on the collar:

1. Loosen the strap so that you can pass the collar around your dog's neck.
2. Put the collar around your dog's neck. Make sure the Smart Dog Collar is positioned forward, under your dog's muzzle.
3. Once in place, gradually tighten the strap using the buckle system until the collar fits snugly around your dog's neck. The collar should not be too tight or too loose: make sure you can fit two fingers between the dog's skin and the collar for comfort.

Warning: do not attach a leash directly to the strap and do not restrain your dog with the Smart Dog Collar or it may be damaged.
