The revolution in animal health has been underway for a few years now at Invoxia, but at the beginning of 2025, the French company is accelerating again! After the release of the Minitailz, the ultra-advanced biotracker for dogs, Invoxia acquires the startup Nov&Sat, and notably its flagship product: the connected litter box Caremitou.

Beyond expanding its expertise to a new species - cats -, Invoxia once again confirms its desire to become a central player in PetCare worldwide.

Invoxia and animal health: a story dating back to 2018
#

After launching its multi-use GPS trackers in 2017, Invoxia quickly turned to a sector close to the hearts of its founders and leaders: animal health. In 2018, our engineers and artificial intelligence specialists added a first health and activity tracking component to its Mini Tracker to allow cat and dog owners to learn more about their companions. The Pet Tracker was born!

While the Pet Tracker remained more of a GPS tracker for dogs and cats than a real health device, the major shift towards animal well-being monitoring was taken in 2023. Invoxia surrounded itself with a scientific advisory board composed of recognized veterinarians, such as Dr. Valérie Chetboul and Dr. Daniel Promislow. The announcement and launch of the Smart Dog Collar were then made at CES. The company also received several awards for its innovation.

Throughout the year, our team of experts worked to reduce its size while maintaining its autonomy and expanding its features. That’s how the following year, Invoxia arrived at CES 2024 with the Minitailz Dog Tracker. Once again, it was awarded and won over thousands of pet parents around the world.

And of course, we didn’t plan to stop there…

Caremitou: the connected litter box that monitors your cat’s health
#

MARCH 2025. Invoxia announces the acquisition of the company Nov&Sat and its Caremitou. The adventure continues in animal health, but this time on the side of cats.

What is Caremitou?
#

Much more than a simple litter box, Caremitou is a real home diagnostic tool for certain feline pathologies. Equipped with a scale, it allows you to monitor your cat’s weight easily, directly from your smartphone.

But its real strength lies in its technology, which monitors its behaviors and informs you and your veterinarian of any changes or anomalies. Caremitou also allows you to perform urine tests directly at home, and thus preventively detect certain conditions, such as diabetes, kidney failure, or liver disease.

Just like Minitailz, which monitors canine health, Caremitou allows your veterinarian to have access to results taken in ideal conditions, at home, in a non-stressful environment for the animal.

In cats, many chronic diseases progress imperceptibly. It is common for them to have been present for a long time, and the veterinary consultation occurs too late. Cats are extremely routine-oriented, making it easy to detect changes in their habits, often early signs of illness. Automated monitoring allows for this remote screening.

What does this mean for Invoxia?
#

The acquisition of Caremitou opens up new - and beautiful - perspectives for Invoxia. The patented technology in the connected litter box allows our company to add a new string to its bow, but it also comes with the arrival of a new expert in animal health in our teams, recognized by all professionals in the sector.

Beyond expanding our range of animal biotrackers, it is also the launch of a new era at Invoxia, with new partnerships, new expertise, and above all an ever-growing desire to improve the well-being of our companions and the comfort of their owners!

💡In the US, there are nearly 90 million dogs and 74 million cats that many consider as full members of their family. So what are we waiting for to take as much care of them as we do for our loved ones?
