With no less than 70,000 stolen vehicles in 2023, France has seen a resurgence of thefts after a few years of decline. The vast majority concerns cars, with nearly 45,000 thefts. Overall, the Argos barometer indicates that the increase was 11.1% compared to 2022.

On the bicycle side, there are 400,000 thefts each year according to the French Federation of Bicycle Users. This alarming figure greatly hinders cyclists from using their bikes.

This observation prompted Invoxia to launch the very first French study linking thefts and mobility!
