This Sunday, April 28, the City Animal Festival is taking place in Issy-les-Moulineaux. For this occasion, Invoxia will be on-site to meet its Isséen neighbors and their dogs. For this first edition, which we hope to see repeated annually, the city of Issy-les-Moulineaux has gone all out, with a fantastic program for its residents and their companions!
So, let’s meet on April 28 at the Square de la Résistance in Issy-les-Moulineaux. For those who have time, the event will last from 10:30 AM to 6 PM, plenty of time to enjoy with your four-legged friend and meet other pet owners around you. Considering that the Isséen community has no less than 2500 dogs, this kind of event is a great opportunity for owners and their furry friends to socialize.
Far from being reserved only for the dog team, this day aims to raise awareness about animal conditions in general. From cats to guinea pigs, all animals are celebrated.

Dog-Centered Activities #
Numerous associations will be present to fill the day with dog-related activities. Adding to this, the participation of the Republican Guard and the National Police highlights the canine squads - our daily protector dogs.
To make a mark, the city of Issy-les-Moulineaux has focused on fun and educational activities, and most importantly, completely free and open to everyone. With entities such as the S.P.A (Animal Protection Society), the Humanimal collective, or the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association of Île-de-France, raising awareness is at the heart of the City Animal Festival’s goals.
Among the stands, you can find an exhibition by photographer Nicolas Davy, specialized in wildlife photography. And if you are passionate about photography, the Sustainable City Service invites you to their stand to sign up for the “Nature Objective” photo contest.
On the educational side, Humanimal will be pleased to demonstrate first aid for animals. It’s not something we often think about, but following their valuable advice could one day be useful. For the younger ones, “Pets at School” activities will allow them to test their knowledge about pets.
As you can see, this day will be packed with activities, as much for you as for your dog! And to top it all off, the National Police and the Republican Guard will be there to share a demonstration and information about the canine unit.

10:30 AM : start the day with a canine walk, led by the trainer from Aud’Dogs, Aude Caillat. At the same time, you can join a guided tour of the “Nature at Issy” photo exhibition.

11 AM & 5 PM : the National Police canine unit will perform a first demonstration on the search for narcotics and explosives.

11:45 AM & 2:45 PM : meet at the Humanimal stand to learn about first aid for animals.

2 PM & 4 PM : explore citizen science with the Issy Nature network from CLAVIM.

2:30 PM : the second dog walk of the day.

3:30 PM & 4:45 PM : it’s the turn of the Republican Guard’s canine unit to perform. They will demonstrate how their dogs find suspicious objects or vehicles.
