Since its launch, the Tracker GPS Pro Max has established itself as the new flagship of the Invoxia range. Today, it is the best-selling tracker in our store. Long battery life, second-by-second live tracking, enhanced water resistance… on paper, it ticks every box. But is it really the right choice for your needs?

In this guide, we put the Pro Max to the test and compare it with a cornerstone of our range, the Classic 2026 Edition, to help you choose the best GPS tracker for your needs—whether for a car, motorcycle, suitcase, or valuable belongings.

Two trackers, two different approaches
#

The Invoxia range is built around the same core features—a simple app, smart alerts, an automated theft file, and data hosted in Europe—but each tracker has its own specialty:

  • Tracker GPS Classic 2026 Edition: Invoxia’s long-standing best seller, affordable and designed to deliver excellent battery life for everyday use.
  • Tracker GPS Pro Max: the premium model combining long battery life, international 4G LTE-M coverage, and second-by-second live tracking.

Putting the Pro Max to the test: how good is Invoxia’s new flagship?
#

🔋 Truly long battery life—even on 4G
#

This is THE Pro Max’s biggest strength. Its 2,000 mAh battery—more than six times the capacity of the Classic—provides up to six months of battery life, depending on the selected location frequency.

It is the only long-battery-life GPS tracker in the range capable of reaching this level of endurance while remaining connected to a 4G LTE-M network covering more than 35 countries.

In practical terms, you can place it inside a camper van, boat, or motorcycle and forget about it for months—even when traveling abroad.

📡 Second-by-second live tracking in the event of theft
#

In Live Tracking mode, the Pro Max can report up to one location per second. If your vehicle is stolen, you can follow it almost in real time from the app.

The PDF theft file—which includes a timestamped GPS history, live location, and shareable tracking link—can also make it easier to report the theft to the police and your insurance provider.

The tracker also includes movement, vibration, and tilt alerts, geofencing with customizable zones, and a Bluetooth radar to help you locate the tracker precisely once you are nearby.

🔐 Three new modes for even more effective protection
#

Like all Invoxia GPS trackers, the Pro Max includes standard anti-theft alerts for suspicious movement, changes in tilt, and exits from a predefined zone.

It goes even further with three new modes designed to provide highly effective protection against theft and forgotten belongings:

  • Absence Mode: going on vacation or leaving your vehicle unattended for an extended period? Enter the dates of your absence and add an emergency contact. If genuine movement is detected, the tracker sends you an alert, automatically activates Live Tracking, and allows your emergency contact to check on the vehicle.
  • Alert Mode: leaving your vehicle for “just a few minutes” can sometimes be all it takes. With Alert Mode enabled, every movement or vibration triggers a critical smartphone notification—even when your phone is set to silent. Live Tracking starts immediately.
  • Proximity Mode: backpacks and handbags are easy to leave behind when you are enjoying time at a park, café, or restaurant. Proximity Mode connects your smartphone to the tracker via Bluetooth. When the connection is lost because you have moved too far away, you receive an enhanced separation alert.

🌧️ IP67 and USB-C: built for outdoor use
#

Like the Classic 2026 Edition, the Pro Max is IP67-rated. It is fully protected against dust and can withstand immersion in up to one meter of water for 30 minutes.

Rain, mud, or months spent inside a vehicle parked outdoors—it is designed to handle demanding conditions. Charging is handled through a modern USB-C port.

At 70 g and 11.3 cm long, it is larger than the other trackers in the range. That is the trade-off for its high-capacity battery. It is therefore better suited to vehicles and larger equipment than to a small handbag.

Comparison of the Invoxia Classic and Pro Max GPS trackers

Which tracker should you choose for each use case?
#

🚗 For a car
#

Both trackers provide effective protection, but the right choice depends on how and where you drive.

For domestic use and a tighter budget, the Classic is more than sufficient. If your car regularly travels across Europe—or you want the fastest live tracking available in the event of theft—the Pro Max is the better option. Cars also offer plenty of discreet hiding places for its slightly larger format.

🏍️ For a motorcycle or scooter
#

Motorcycles are exposed to bad weather and are particularly attractive targets for thieves, making them an ideal use case for the Pro Max.

Its IP67 rating, vibration and tilt alerts, and second-by-second live tracking provide a comprehensive layer of protection. It is also the model we recommend in our motorcycle anti-theft GPS tracker guide.

🧳 For a suitcase or luggage
#

The best choice depends on your destination.

Weighing only 70 g, the Pro Max can easily be slipped between two items of clothing. Its coverage in more than 35 countries makes it an excellent solution for tracking a suitcase while traveling.

The Classic remains a relevant option for domestic travel and can easily be hidden inside a suitcase lining.

🛠️ For equipment and valuable belongings
#

Trailer, camper van, boat, or construction equipment: choose the Pro Max for its six-month battery life, durable construction, and international connectivity.

For belongings that remain within your home country—such as a bicycle stored in a garage, a bag, or smaller equipment—the Classic offers the best balance between protection and price.

Verdict: which GPS tracker should you choose in 2026?
#

  • Affordable everyday protection for domestic use → Tracker GPS Classic 2026 Edition, the benchmark for value.
  • Demanding uses—motorcycles, camper vans, boats, long-distance travel, or higher theft risks Tracker GPS Pro Max, quite simply the most advanced GPS tracker Invoxia has ever created.

It is no coincidence that the Pro Max has already become the best-selling model in the range. It brings together features that previously required two different trackers: the battery life of the Classic and the international, real-time connectivity of the Pro, which it has now replaced in the range.

Frequently asked questions about the Invoxia Tracker GPS Pro Max
#

What is the difference between the Tracker GPS Classic and the Pro Max?
#

The Tracker GPS Classic is a compact and affordable model designed primarily for everyday domestic use. It offers up to six months of battery life but does not include Live Tracking.

The Tracker GPS Pro Max also provides up to six months of battery life, while adding international 4G LTE-M coverage and Live Tracking with up to one location per second. It is better suited to vehicles, valuable equipment, international travel, and situations where fast tracking is essential.

Does the Tracker GPS Pro Max work abroad?
#

Yes. The Pro Max uses a 4G LTE-M network available in more than 35 countries. It can therefore continue transmitting its location when traveling across supported countries, making it particularly suitable for cars, camper vans, motorcycles, boats, and luggage used internationally.

Coverage should always be checked before traveling to ensure the destination country is supported.

How accurate is the Pro Max’s Live Tracking?
#

When Live Tracking is activated, the Pro Max can transmit up to one location per second. This makes it possible to follow the movement of a stolen vehicle or valuable item almost in real time from the Invoxia app.

Actual positioning accuracy may vary depending on the environment, GPS reception, network availability, and whether the tracker is indoors or outdoors.

How long does the Pro Max battery last?
#

The Tracker GPS Pro Max offers up to six months of battery life. Actual battery life depends on several factors, including the selected tracking frequency, how often the tracker moves, network conditions, and the use of energy-intensive features such as Live Tracking.

The tracker can be recharged using USB-C.

Is the Tracker GPS Pro Max waterproof?
#

The Pro Max is IP67-rated. It is protected against dust and can withstand temporary immersion in up to one meter of water for 30 minutes.

It is therefore suitable for use inside motorcycles, boats, camper vans, trailers, and vehicles exposed to rain, humidity, or mud. However, it is not designed for prolonged underwater use.

Can I use the Pro Max to track a stolen car or motorcycle?
#

Yes. The Pro Max includes movement, vibration, tilt, and geofence alerts. If suspicious activity is detected, you can activate Live Tracking and follow the vehicle from the app.

You can also generate a theft file containing the tracker’s timestamped GPS history, current location, and a shareable tracking link to assist with reports to the police and your insurer.

Where should I hide the GPS tracker inside a vehicle?
#

The tracker should be placed somewhere discreet, protected from direct impact, and difficult to spot or remove. It should not be enclosed inside a fully metallic compartment, as this may interfere with GPS and mobile network signals.

In a car or camper van, it can be hidden beneath trim, inside the trunk, or behind a non-metallic panel. On a motorcycle, it should be secured inside a protected compartment while maintaining adequate signal reception.

Is a subscription required for the Tracker GPS Pro Max?
#

Yes. The network subscription is required for the tracker to transmit its location remotely. The Pro Max includes one year of service at purchase. After that, the subscription can be renewed according to the pricing and plans available in your country.
