At Invoxia, we know how much your companion’s health matters to you. That’s why we continuously refine our artificial intelligence algorithms so every measurement reflects your dog’s true physiological reality.
Back in 2023, we shared a first scientific study that demonstrated how reliable our technology is for monitoring breathing and heart rate continuously and non-invasively. Since then, we have kept researching, collected more data, and fine-tuned our methods to deliver even more accurate tracking.
Why this new version? #
Over time we expanded our dataset, especially with dogs monitored for cardiac or respiratory conditions. That helped us detect some very specific scenarios: in very small, ill dogs, our first algorithm could occasionally overestimate the respiratory rate.
The key remained intact: changes in breathing—whether up or down—were detected correctly, but the absolute values could be slightly higher than reality for those particular profiles.
Thanks to these fresh data points and the constant progress of AI, we built an improved algorithm that is more robust and more precise, while better accounting for each dog’s unique characteristics.
A beneficial update for everyone #
Because every raw measurement is stored in the cloud, we were able to reanalyze the entire history automatically. You didn’t have to do a thing: your Invoxia Biotracker app already displays the updated values, recalculated with the new version of our AI.
In conclusion #
This evolution makes respiratory measurements even more accurate and tailored to every dog, especially the smaller ones. It reflects our commitment to providing tools that are consistently reliable and compassionate, helping you care for your companions every day. With AI, your Biotracker keeps getting smarter—just like the attention you give your dog.
