Canicross, agility, pulling sports, long hikes: a sporting dog needs special attention, both during exercise and at rest. At Invoxia, we’re excited to announce our partnership with Golden Mask, a French brand of supplements designed for active dogs. Two complementary approaches with one shared goal: supporting your dog in everything they do, day after day. And exclusive perks for both our communities, starting today.
Who is Golden Mask? #
Golden Mask is a French brand of natural supplements for dogs, specializing in joint comfort, mobility and nutritional support for active and sporting dogs. Through formulas dedicated to muscles, exercise and recovery, Golden Mask takes a holistic approach to canine well-being, combining nutrition, appropriate physical activity and respect for each dog’s needs.
The brand designs formulas it wants to be easy to understand, tied to specific goals and simple to fit into a dog’s routine, often as treats given as a reward. Its range is designed for active, sporting, powerful or senior dogs, including:
- the Sports Canins & Muscles formula, a complementary feed combining BCAAs and collagen, designed by the brand for muscle support and recovery in dogs that do canicross, agility, pulling sports or working activities;
- BOOST K9 SPORT+, a liquid formula with L-carnitine and hydrolyzed collagen for the physical condition of active dogs;
- Bien-Être Articulaire (joint well-being), dedicated to the mobility and comfort of active, large-breed or senior dogs.
Which supplement for your dog?
Muscles, physical condition or joints: Golden Mask has created a guide to choosing the right formula for your dog (in French), based on their goal and profile.
What does a supplement do for a sporting dog? #
A supplement is added to your dog’s usual diet: it doesn’t replace it. That’s actually how European law defines it: a complementary feed has a high content of certain substances, but is sufficient for a daily ration only if used in combination with other feed, under the EU regulation on animal feed. The same text prohibits any feed from claiming to prevent, treat or cure a disease.
For a sporting dog, a supplement is therefore a way to target a specific goal, on top of a complete and balanced diet: muscle support, physical condition, joint comfort. Contrary to what many people think, there’s no single “best supplement” for every dog: Golden Mask points out that the right choice depends on the goal, but also on the dog’s age, activity level, diet and health.
Fitting a supplement into an active dog’s routine #
A supplement belongs in a routine already built around diet, activity and rest. A few guidelines to get it right:
- Start with a complete diet. The World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) counts supplements as treats and extras: its guide to treats for dogs recommends they make up no more than 10% of daily calories and never replace a meal. Functional treats count toward that total.
- Choose based on a goal. Muscles, physical condition, joints, or two needs at once: pick the formula that matches the goal rather than several products at random.
- Follow the recommended amounts. They depend on your dog’s weight and are listed on each product. Golden Mask notes that there’s no need to stick to a specific time before or after exercise.
- Be consistent. The brand recommends regular use over several weeks, rather than a one-off dose on competition day.
- Talk to your vet. If your dog has an illness, is on medication, is in pain or is limping, your vet’s advice comes before any supplement. Your vet can also help you adjust extras if your dog is on a special diet.
- Watch your dog over time. Energy during exercise, recovery, sleep quality: following these markers week after week is how you see how your dog is handling their training.
That last point is exactly where daily monitoring comes in.
The Invoxia Biotracker at a glance #
The Biotracker is a smart collar that continuously tracks your dog’s activity, sleep and, at rest, heart rate and respiratory rate. Day after day, it learns what’s normal for your dog and helps you spot what changes. With the Max GPS plan, it also shows your dog’s location in real time.
Its measurements were validated in the AI-COLLAR study, published in 2025 in Frontiers in Veterinary Science: across 703 healthy dogs, 99.6% accuracy for heart rate and 98.6% for respiratory rate.
Why this partnership makes sense #
A sporting dog isn’t just a dog that runs. It’s also a dog that needs to recover well between sessions. Golden Mask and Invoxia come in at two points in that routine:
- Golden Mask supports the active dog’s diet, with supplements designed for exercise and recovery;
- the Biotracker shows you how your dog spends their days: activity level, sleep quality and, at rest, heart and breathing.
Together, these two tools help you get to know your dog better and adjust their pace, for example by noticing a more restless night after a big session, or checking that their sleep stays steady over weeks of training. Golden Mask has also introduced the Biotracker to its community: read how to follow the daily rhythm of an active dog on their blog (in French). For more ways to keep your dog moving, browse our dog activity and exercise ideas.
Neither supplements nor the Biotracker replace your vet’s advice: limping, unusual tiredness or a lasting change in your dog’s data are all reasons to book a visit.

Does a sporting dog always need supplements? #
No. The foundation is a complete and balanced diet suited to your dog’s activity level. A supplement is a way to target a specific goal, such as muscle support or joint comfort. Your vet can help you decide whether it’s useful for your dog.
When should I give a supplement to a dog that does sports? #
For Golden Mask formulas, the brand says there’s no need to stick to a specific time before or after exercise: what matters is following the recommended amounts for your dog’s weight and giving them consistently, over several weeks.
Are Golden Mask supplements and the Biotracker connected? #
No. The two products are independent: Golden Mask supplements support your dog’s diet, while the Biotracker tracks their activity, sleep and resting vital signs in the Invoxia app.
Does Golden Mask ship everywhere? #
