The Biotracker health record is a digital pet health record for your dog, built into the Biotracker app on iOS and Android at no extra cost, from the Basic plan. Vaccines, reminders, weight, treatments, appointments and everyday observations are kept in one place, alongside your dog's health readings.
And when something worries you, you can report it to your vet in seconds, with a photo or video.
Your dog's health record at a glance
You will find it at the top of the Health tab in the app. A red badge lets you know as soon as something is overdue.
The health record brings together everything about your dog's life: vaccines, parasite treatments, medication, weight, appointments, and what you notice day to day, with photos and videos.
Every entry stays private, unless you choose to share it with your vet.

They have been scratching their ear since this morning, they are limping after their walk, they were sick in the night. These small episodes are often hard to describe once you are at the clinic, and the details fade.
With Report to my vets, you note what you see, when you see it:
- What happened? Seizure or convulsion, itching, vomiting, diarrhoea, limping, coughing or breathing, appetite or thirst, unusual behaviour, or something else
- When? Now or earlier
- A description in your own words
- Photos and videos, with no length limit: a video helps your vet a great deal
First, invite your vet from the app: this gives them access to your dog's health record. Your report is then sent to them as soon as you submit it. If their clinic uses the Biotrack platform, it goes straight to their dashboard. In the history, you can see when the clinic has viewed it.

Take a photo of a vaccination record, a vaccine label, a prescription or a medicine box: the app fills in the entry for you. Scanning is included from the Plus plan.
Prefer to type it in yourself? There are six types of entry, available to everyone from the Basic plan:

The Upcoming section reminds you of what is coming up next: vaccine booster, parasite treatment, check-up at the vet.
Forgot a parasite treatment? It shows in red, with the number of days overdue, so you can catch up straight away.
Treatments,dose by dose
An antibiotic twice a day for a week, for example: the health record tracks the treatment day by day, with the dosage and the current day.
Each dose is ticked off with a single tap. No more wondering in the evening: "Has anyone given them their tablet yet?"

Dog vaccination reminders:never forget one
For each of your dog's vaccine boosters, the health record shows the last injection, the next booster date and a clear status: Up to date or not.
It is the Vaccination record to show your vet, the kennels or when travelling, straight from your phone. The upcoming booster appears at the top of the health record, so you never find out too late.
Track yourdog's weight
Each weigh-in is added to a curve you can view over one month, six months, one year or the whole period. Slow weight gain becomes visible long before you can see it on your dog.
In the history, each weigh-in also shows the difference from the previous one.

My spaces brings together the history, calendar, vaccines and weight. All entries are sorted by date: filter by Reports, Vaccines or Weight to find information in seconds.
Badges show you what has been Shared with the vet and what has been Seen by the clinic. On the day of the appointment, your dog's story is already told.

How the health record works day to day
The health record is built into the Biotracker app, on iOS and Android, and available from the Basic plan, with no subscription.
Open the health record
From the Health tab in the app, open your dog's health record.
Fill it in
Scan a document (Plus plan) or add an entry by hand: vaccine, parasite treatment, treatment, weight, appointment or free note.
Report what worries you
Choose the symptom, describe it, add a photo or video and send it to your vet.
Find what matters
Upcoming reminders, filtered history, weight curve: everything is ready for the next appointment.
Stay connected to your vet
Invite your vet from the app to give them access to the health record: your reports and the entries you share reach them between appointments. For professionals, the Biotrack platform makes it possible to monitor patients at home from the clinic.

Invite them from the Biotracker app. Once they accept the invitation, they can access your dog's health record and receive the reports and entries you choose to share. Without an invitation, only you can see the health record.
Yes. The health record is part of the Biotracker app and works with a Biotracker linked to your account. However, no subscription is required: it is available from the Basic plan.
No. The health record is available from the Biotracker Basic plan, so with no subscription. It is also included in all other plans at no extra cost. Only document scanning requires the Plus plan.
From the Plus plan: a vaccination record, a vaccine label, a prescription or a medicine box. The app reads the document and fills in the matching entry. Scanning works in all the app's languages. Manual entry is available with every plan.
No. Every entry stays private unless you choose to share it with your vet. When you send a report, the Share with my vet option makes the entry visible to the clinic as soon as it is sent. In the history, a badge shows what has been shared and what the clinic has viewed.
No. Simply invite your vet from the app and they can access your dog's health record, even if their clinic does not use Biotrack. Your shared reports are then sent to them as soon as you submit them. If the clinic uses the Biotrack veterinary platform, they go straight to its dashboard, alongside your dog's health and activity data.
No. A report is for documenting what you observe and passing it on to your vet. In the event of a seizure, collapse, difficulty breathing or any sign that worries you, call your vet or an emergency veterinary service immediately.
No. The vaccination record in the app is handy to show your vet, the kennels or when travelling, but it does not replace official documents such as the EU pet passport required for travel.
